WHERE WE CAME FROM
Our Story
We didn’t start with a plan, we started with a desire for family. On June 2, 2013, New Beginnings Outreach Church was born out of a deep longing to create a place where people could truly belong, be healed, and become who they were created to be.
Anthony and Chrissie Sargent had a heart for those who felt forgotten, those who didn’t fit into the typical church mold. What began with small gatherings and big prayers quickly grew into a vibrant community built on love, presence, restoration, and purpose.
Over the years, NBO has become more than a church building, it’s become the family we desired. Week after week, lives are being transformed, families are being restored, and people are discovering their identity and purpose in God.
From our local neighborhood to the nations, we carry one message: You were made for more. We believe healing is possible, wholeness is real, and freedom is available to everyone.
At NBO, church feels like home, multi-generational, multicultural, and full of life. And the best part? We’re just getting started.

WHAT WE’RE ABOUT
Our Mission & Values
At New Beginnings Outreach, we exist to awaken people to their purpose, walk with them through transformation, and release them to bring hope and healing wherever they go. We are building a family where truth, freedom, and love shape every part of life.
Here’s what we live by:
1. You Were Made On Purpose, For Purpose
We believe every person carries something the world needs. We are here to help people discover their identity and live with intention.
2. Love Is Our First Language
We lead with compassion, not judgment. Everyone deserves to be seen, known, and loved. We create a culture of belonging no matter your story.
3. Hope Always Has the Final Word
We believe there’s no situation too broken for restoration. Even in darkness, light is still possible. That’s why we keep showing up, keep speaking life, and keep believing in people.
4. Freedom Is Meant to Be Lived
We don’t just talk about change, we live it. Freedom isn’t about behavior, it’s about becoming whole from the inside out. And wholeness is contagious.
5. We’re Better Together
Growth happens in real relationships. We are committed to walking together through every season, celebrating, weeping, correcting, and cheering each other on.
6. Peace is a Force for Good
We believe what we carry inside us affects everything around us. We cultivate peace, speak life into the atmosphere, and stand as a voice for healing and restoration.
7. We Live What We Believe
Our faith isn’t just talk, it’s action. We bring love to the communities, healing to families, and justice to forgotten places. We don’t just dream of a better world, we partner with God to build it.
8. Worship Is a Lifestyle, Not a Moment
We don’t confine worship to a song on a Sunday. It’s how we live, love, work, forgive, and walk through life. It’s giving our best with a heart that says, “You’re worth it.”
